got to Hove at 2pm. Rigged 5.5m as I could see that basher was planing well but lacking oomph on the inside. Had a good hour and a half, sort of waist high swell, better towards the west pier, but nothing with real bite. Pleased to have made the most of it, but the kit really felt unemotional today, fin spinning out, board heavy, sail unrefined. I guess the current and being slightly overpowered didnt help. Some nice jumps and my fair share of downwind swoops and whacks.
